Hillam Architects

Hillam Architects was established in 1993 by David Hillam, whose passion for design, detail and the way people live in spaces has shaped the practice into one of Perth’s most respected architectural firms. From the beginning, the focus has been on creating distinctive, high quality architecture that elevates everyday living and enhances the built environment. Over the past three decades, Hillam Architects has built an extensive portfolio that spans luxury private residences, multi-residential projects, mixed-use developments and commercial spaces, all unified by a commitment to excellence and innovation.

For clients looking to build a new luxury home, Hillam Architects offers a tailored process that responds directly to lifestyle, site and climate, resulting in designs that feel both personal and enduring. Their residential work is celebrated for its ability to balance refined aesthetics with functionality, creating bespoke homes that are as liveable as they are striking. A dedicated interiors team ensures that the same level of creativity and precision flows seamlessly from the architecture through to every interior detail.

Behind the practice is a long-standing team of architects and designers who thrive on collaboration and share a passion for pushing design boundaries. Their expertise is supported by advanced technology, including 3D visualisation and BIM, giving clients the ability to clearly envision their home throughout the design journey. The firm’s reputation has been reinforced by numerous industry awards and strong relationships with local authorities, consultants and contractors, which help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Hillam Architects continues to embody the belief that architecture can transform lives, producing homes that inspire, endure, and reflect the individuality of the people who live in them.
